Despite the fact that there is a 34-year age gap between David and his wife, Katharine McPhee, an American singer-songwriter and actress, the couple got married in 2019 and are very happy. In 2017, the couple was seen engaging in romantic behavior for the first time, and they didn’t exactly try to hide the strong feelings that they had for one another. The couple announced their engagement in July 2018, shortly after David finalized his divorce from his ex-wife Yolanda Hadid and Katharine ended her relationship with Elyes Gabel, with whom she had been in a relationship for two years and with whom she had worked together in the film Scorpion.

The couple exchanged their vows in front of witnesses in London in June 2019, and the rest, as they say, is history. In the years that have passed, David and Katharine have maintained the attitude that they are not bashful about their love for one another. In 2020, on the occasion of the couple’s first wedding anniversary, Katharine posted a picture to Instagram along with the caption, “Exactly one year ago today, I wed the man who would become the love of my life. I am so grateful that you have never stopped loving me and that you continue to be an inspiration to me in every facet of my life. Cheers to the years to come! (Oh, and happy anniversary to the other love of my life—this incredibly romantic dress! Thank you very much, @ZacPosen!!”

After that, in October of 2020, Katharine gave what appeared to be an official confirmation that she was carrying David and their first child together. At the time, she displayed a booze present from the brand while saying “Thank you, Aperol Spritz” in a post that has since been archived from her Instagram Story. She went on to say, “I won’t be drinking this anytime soon, wink, wink,” alluding to the possibility that she was pregnant. “But I can’t contain my enthusiasm! Who wants to come over for a cocktail with an Italian influence?”

According to Us Weekly, four months after that, the couple welcomed a boy, whose name has been verified to be Rennie David Foster.

“Kat McPhee and David Foster have welcomed a son into the world and are overjoyed to become parents. Everything worked out perfectly. Both mom and baby are in good health “a source had revealed this information to the publication at the time.

Since that time, David and Katharine have been living in Los Angeles as a happy married couple, where they are also raising their small kid together.
