The total amount of experience gained when an opposing Pokmon faints is divided in half if any non-fainted Pokmon in the party holds an Experience Share. This experience is divided as follows: 50% of it is evenly distributed between all non-fainted Pokmon who took part in the battle, and 50% of it is evenly distributed between all non-fainted Pokmon who hold an Experience Share.
