Marksmanship Hunters now deal respectable damage to a single target, but they truly flourish in burst area-of-effect scenarios. This is quite a different profile compared to the Marksmanship Hunters that were available in Battle for Azeroth. Marksmanship is currently the most effective Hunter specialization in its present form (subject to tuning).
